Entertainment Program – District Secretariat, Kalutara – 2026.07.14
As the first phase of a project implemented under the provisions of the Arts Council of Sri Lanka, the Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, the Department of Cultural Affairs, the State Music Council of the Sri Lanka Arts Council and the Kalutara District Secretariat jointly organized the “Sabanda” entertainment program successfully held on July 14, 2026 at the Kalutara District Secretariat Auditorium.
The resourcefulness for this musical and critical program held for pregnant mothers was provided by veteran musician Nadika Guruge, chairman of the State Music Council, veteran musician Sagara Wijesinghe, member of the State Music Council, music therapist Ms. Vatsala Sripali Pattikara and musician Sasrika Randimal.
On behalf of the Kalutara District Secretariat, its Additional District Secretary Samantika P. Ms. Liyanage, Additional District Secretary Ms. Shyama Kariyawasam, Ms. Anoma Wijesekara, Cultural Officer of the District Culture Division and other officials and employees of the District Secretariat contributed to this.
On behalf of the Department of Cultural Affairs, Director of Cultural Affairs K.S. Under the guidance of Mrs. Dilhani, the Secretary of the State Music Council, Mr. Vajira Premathilaka, and the Assistant Secretary of the State Music Council, Mrs. Prabha Karunaratne, contributed to the success of this event.
The music was provided by the State Music Ensemble.
