(English) Ratnasiri Arangala is the professor in Sinhala and currently the head of the Department of the Sinhala and Mass-communication of the University of Sri Jayawardanapura. He is a member of the Academic Affairs Board of the National Institute of Education and a member of the Board of Academic in National Institute of Language Education of the Ministry of National Co-existence, Dialogue and National Languages. He is the author of several publications on Sinhala Language and Linguistics.
