State Children’s Art Festival – 2026
The State Children’s Art Festival has been organized this year with the primary objective of enhancing and appreciating the creative potential of Sri Lankan children. This festival will be held with the participation of students representing every Divisional Secretariat Division of the island. This State Children’s Art Festival is geared towards acquiring the necessary skills to become a child artist and developing the necessary creative thinking power for that.
The acceptance of works for the ‘2026- State Children’s Painting Festival’ organized by the Ministry of Buddhashasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Department of Cultural Affairs and the State Visual Arts Panel of the Arts Council of Sri Lanka is scheduled to take place from 15th July to 31st August 2026 at the National Art Gallery, Colombo 07.
