Mr. Nandana Weerasinghe has been appointed as an executive committee member of Arts Council of Sri Lanka by Dr. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi Hon. Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs.

Mr. Nandana Weerasinghe is a poet and poetry translator who has worked for the advancement of Sri Lankan poetry for, forty-five years. He is an editor who has represented the arts and academic sector, and an enthusiastic researcher of the enduring poetry and Philosophy of the far East and Eastern countries.
