Panel for Intangible Cultural heritage is established for the purpose of advising and assisting the Arts council on the general advancement of the intangible cultural heritage and to promote and encourage the development of Sri Lankan indigenous arts and crafts to support a vibrant community of intangible cultural practitioners and groups to protect, preserve intangible art forms for future generations of Sri Lanka.
